Circular food systems: enabling policies and business cases
This session will explore key enabling policy frameworks and successful business cases for implementing and scaling up circular agri-food systems. It will compare and contrast two examples from Rwanda and Serbia to identify both transferable lessons and context-specific insights. The session will showcase innovations and best practices from both countries, discuss similarities and lessons learned, and chart the way forward for replication and scaling up of a circular economy transition in the agri-food sector. Join us to hear from policymakers, leading experts and small-medium sized enterprises as they share strategies for success. Please arrive to the venue by 13:30.
Organisers: United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, Platform for Accelerating Circular Economy (PACE) and World Resources Institute
