Driving the circular economy transition with private sector initiatives

The circular economy, central to the EU’s Green Deal agenda, shapes partnerships with neighbouring countries and demands a shift in traditional value chains towards sustainable, resource-efficient models. Entrepreneurs and the private sector are crucial in driving this transition by embracing new production patterns for economic growth while using resources efficiently. The session will dive into how businesses embrace circular economy principles, detailing both triumphs and obstacles.

Organisers: European Commission Services, in particular Directorate-General for International Partnerships and Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations
