Explore how food systems can transition to a circular economy with the help of bioeconomy policies and innovative practices. This session will also highlight the global applicability of these strategies for sustainable development and food security, with examples from the Global South.

Organisers: Circular Economy Coalition for Latin America and the Caribbean, with Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Global Plastic Action Partnership of the World Economic Forum, Ministry of Environment of Peru, Secretariat for Environmental and Energy Sector Planning of the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica, and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
