Bryony joined ICMM in February 2021 and currently leads their work on the circular economy, climate change, health and safety, and tailings reduction. Before taking on her current role, she was project lead for standards and for the circular economy at ICMM. Prior to joining ICMM, she worked in business ethics, procurement and responsible sourcing at energy services company Centrica and at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She is a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. Bryony holds a BA in geography from the University of Oxford.

Jerome Stucki

Jerome leads the circular economy and resource efficiency unit at UNIDO. The unit supports industries, and in particular SMEs, in member states in just transitions towards more resource-efficient and circular business models and practices. Working for UNIDO since 2010, Jerome designed and managed environmental interventions ranging from eco-industrial parks and large industrial mercury emitters to artisanal gold mining. Prior to joining UNIDO, he worked for an environmental consultancy in Switzerland providing expertise to industries facing environmental legacies. Jerome holds an MSc in earth sciences from the University of Lausanne and an MAS in hydrogeology from the University of Neuchatel, both in Switzerland.
Burcu has over 20 years’ experience working with the private, public and non-governmental sectors on transitions to sustainable consumption and production patterns. She currently leads the circular economy programme in the global sustainability compliance team at HP. Her previous work includes research on sustainable products at the Wuppertal Institute, senior expert support for the SWITCH-Asia network facility hosted by CSCP, management of the SwitchMed network in the MENA region, circular economy network lead for local governments at ICLEI, and co-lead for circular economy at adelphi. She is an environmental engineer and holds an MBA and an MSc in environmental management and policy. She is also an implementing partner of CTI.

Smail Alhilali joined UNIDO in 2007, serving in different positions including chief of division for responsible materials and chemicals management (2020-2023), and chief of division for emerging compliance regimes (2018-2020). He was responsible for the implementation of the global resource efficiency and cleaner production programme and the technical lead of the global eco-industrial parks programme. Before joining UNIDO, Smail was the director of Morocco National Cleaner Production Centre (2003-2007) and served in different positions within the National Centre for Nuclear Energy, Sciences and Technology (CNESTEN) in Morocco (1994-2003). Smail holds a master’s on nuclear safety engineering (France, 1994) and a master’s on mechanical engineering (Morocco, 1993).

Thomas has worked in the environment-business interface for over 20 years. He spent his early career in Indonesia working on tigers, palm oil and green economies for the Zoological Society of London and WWF before returning to the UK to focus on mining and forests with Flora & Fauna International. Thomas joined CDP, the global environmental disclosure platform, in 2021 and is now responsible for guiding the expansion of the platform to encompass all aspects of nature. He has a PhD in ecology and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.
Luisa Santiago has been leading the foundation's work in Latin America since the establishment of its regional office in 2015. She is recognised as one of the main leaders in the circular economy on the continent and has a key role in its uptake by governments and businesses. She sits in the steering board of the Latin American and Caribbean Circular Economy Coalition, and is a board member of some NGOs and cities. Prior to joining the Ellen MacArthur Foundation she spent nearly 10 years in strategy and sustainability consultancy with large corporations and governments. She holds a master’s in sustainable development practices, a degree in environmental management, and a bachelor's in social communication.
